For unknown reasons, yesterday after dinner I got a 144 – I didn’t eat anything particularly bad… the onlything i can think of is a was really really full, and I seem to notice that if i eat a lot, even if lots of veggies and some carbs, I will still get high post-dinner values…
However, this morning everything was very good, I got an 88.
A great website

The first 10 days

Here’s my first real post: I am uploading a couple of pictures with my glicemic values in the last ten days, since when I started the new “diet.
The first image has the values in mg/dL (as used in US I believe, and in some european countries), the second one shows the same values in mmol/L (as used in UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and I don’t know where else).
Of course the misurations have been taken Before Breakfast, After Breakfast, Before lunch, After Lunch, Before Dinner, After Dinner.
mg/L

mmol/L

I think a trend can already be identified; the values are getting better and better I believe.
Here’s what I ate during these days:

I tried to get one spoon of linseed oil with each breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also, very very important, i went out for a walk after each dinner, and exercised 3-4 times a week. I can get better at that, i know… I will try!

Welcome to my new blog.
Go to the “about” page to know about it and about me.
I am a diabetic (type 2) person who’s trying to change his life by sticking to a better diet. The core of the diet is: use whole foods, use good oils (linseed/flaxseed), be moderate, exercise.
I will be posting my glicemic values here, along with what I eat and what I do to get such values.
